Utility flask should be able to remove marks.
Mark curses from mobs stay on you permanent, but utility flask cannot roll remove curse.
This means my CI build that doesn't require life/mana flask, can only spec into reduced curse effect to deal with them. This is kind of odd since this is much more investment then just have a flask remove it. The flask mod for reduced curse effect is useless in this case because as soon as the flask runs out, the curse continues. This is not good enough if you consider a random magic mob, that you missed at the start of your map can curse you for the entire instance, unless you backtrack and hunt corners to find it. Most ailments can be removed via an utility flask so not being able to remove curse seems out of place. I think we can all agree the only mark that should be permanently on is Mark_ggg. utility flasks already have a superior mod than other flasks for curses.
up to 65% reduced curse effect instead of removing a curse that can be immediately reapplied. 65% reduced effect is more than enough to remove the dangers of the curse, you don't need 100% |

I'm not so sure its the superior mod if it means a random blue mob can have a perma debuff on me the rest of the map if that flask ever runs out.

Its annoying but you can Portal out to remove the Mark.

I missed it too in delve, when I got perma marked lots of times from slow / burrowing / hiding mobs.
All-time non-streamer luckless dropless rewardless tons-of-time-playing non-TFT-er 100% solo player.
So, it just turns out, we were lied to for years with the promises of a two-storied one PoE 4.0. All these worse and worse beta leagues, all these braindead changes, all lead to this. |

Marks are removed when the thing that applied them is killed.

"Especially obnoxious in Delve - get marked as you pass by a side tunnel and it effectively doesn't go away til you reload unless you spend a ton of time and flares hunting down the culprit. Would be nice to have some of those edge cases addressed. Last edited by unincorporation#7369 on Jun 1, 2022, 8:16:03 PM

" He is aware of this, given that he says: "This is not good enough if you consider a random magic mob, that you missed at the start of your map can curse you for the entire instance, unless you backtrack and hunt corners to find it." The suggestion is having a way to remove the Mark besides tracking down and finding the one random enemy who happened to apply it to you (who may have then ran off to some dark corner). |

Marks being changed was already dumb.
Flask changes sucked. Why? Last edited by Terzian#6850 on Jun 2, 2022, 12:30:43 AM

" Yea this. It's not really reasonable to hunt down all mobs in poe. Specially on builds like vortex that don't exactly hit the entire screen at once. I just walk trough and after a bit realize i missed a mob a while back and feeling bad i would have to leave map or backtrack if i wanted to play it safe. I would understand it being perma if a boss or a rogue could perma debuff me, but just any random monster almost every other map I run.... |
