Hello, can you add the option to change the sex of the characters?

Doing it will be eye-catching for those of us who have been playing Path of exile for a long time... and everything that is eye-catching is positive for the community and the owners of Path of exile.

For those who tend to criticize any recommendation to entertain themselves for not having anything interesting to do... I recommend that you look at several famous games of different styles, they have the option of changing the Witch's Sex, it would be nice if you could use a Warlock or a female Marauder. .

Play the female Marauder and put the male skin Maroider. Nice

The Lineage 2 game that was released several years ago has what I said and the armor molds to the body... I can name other games but here I suppose that most of them know L2.

It is not "armor molds to the body", it is devs taking a great amount of time to create almost each character asset in male and female versions separately, not to mention all the required voiceovers :)

While I am a bit sad to always play Scion and having to use the weakest Ascendancy class in the game (because Scion is the only model I can bear to look at, without the horrible "knees together" combat stance like Witch has), sex limitation is understandable, and you cannot just "add the option" in order to change that.

Other than Diablo 3, most ARPGs have traditionally had gender-locked classes. PoE is fashioned after no game more clearly than Diablo 2, which also had gener-locked classes. Titan Quest does not, but it also doesn't have class-locked characters -- you pick them after you start playing, so it technically only has two character models.

And the only reason D3 has gender choices is because it was made by MMO veterans, where, as you pointed out with your comparison to Lineage 2, gender choice has always been a thing. And because Blizzard put more money into their fucking event afterparties than GGG did into the beta of PoE, so I'm sure the cost of essentially double the classes asset-wise was no bigs for them.

Could GGG afford it now? Sure. Do they need to to keep selling support packs and making new content to keep selling support packs? Nope.

didnt chris say something about the character models and the problem thex currently have with them in the anouncment stream of this league?

if i remember right,character models withh be rewored in/for poe2 and that this will lower the amount of work
the new storyline in poe2 will be played with new characters and they might have the opposite sex of the current ones with the same ascendanys

this is just how i remember it and it could be horrible wrong so if you really wanna know you might want to check the dentinel announcment or just google it

Are you saying all my Scions would suddenly become male? :)
Or are they going to wipe all Standard characters in PoE2?

few years ago I would think the same as op, could not play another gender than mine, I was not against said other gender it just put me off my fantasy.

Now I don t care much and enjoy whatever character is given to me but I still wish they would give the option, not for the same reason...

I wish they gave players a gender swap option but they would keep the original ingame dialogue and voices.

Just buy more MTX until you can't see your character. Problem solved.
