i can explain what i did step by step

You have to WHITELIST this e-mail + put it into the "trusted" sender list --> support@grindinggear.com
in your e-mail solution. If you don't how to do this, then you will have to contact the support of your e-mail provider.

You also have to check your SPAM fodler for a GGG reply.

Lastly GGG support will normaly only reply to account related support to the e-mail used to create the account.

for them no, for you yes since this is to prevent the mail to be blocked by Hotmail.

Assuming that you did understand my other point about have to use that e-mail that the account was made with, then you will just have to wait.

If you after 24 hours still didn't get any reply, then high chance that either:
- You are not using the correct sender e-mail so GGG will not reply because they don't think you are the account owner.
- That your e-mail to them or their reply to you is being blocked.

As a Steam user, on the website you click "login via Steam".

You did something wrong here and you even got a BIG warning box that you ignored. As a Steam user you never ever do an account link.

I have tried explain the world of "GGG" as best as I could for you, so GL Exile.
