Unique Jewel That Provides An Additional Arrow but Significantly Lessens Hit Damage
My non-totem Scourge Arrow build needs two additional arrows to prevent missing enemies in single target situations (arrows fired in V shape misses targets if you aim on them). But I also need more than one arrow to reduce the chance of losing pods in small rooms and to improve the hit rate of my six pods.
But finding another arrow to make three in total is extremely difficult for my build as I'm limited to effectively just corrupted implicits on bows and +1 arrow quivers. I can't craft a bow with an additional arrow, it's not possible to make one better than darkscorn since the elder mod was removed. Can a jewel that significantly lessens hit damage but adds an additional arrow please be introduced? One already exists for totems. Last bumped on Jun 1, 2022, 8:11:58 PM

I would kinda dig a jewel such as this, to give it reduced damage but +1 arrow. Not sure if it would fly with "on-hit" damage,since it would just be free for some builds, including yours, but that's not on me.
Another source that I'd have for your +2 arrows, if you can work it into your build, would be the use of dying sun? I presume if you are playing scourge arrow you are also playing pathfinder? That would give you a way to get +2 arrows and effectively be a damage flask, no? |

I was going to claim that I couldn't fit a Dying Sun into my build, but you've made me question my Jade Flask. Given that I'm already fairly close to evasion capped, despite my bad chest, I might be able to fit it in if I throw more Essences at a chest or other armour pieces.
And while I agree that the "less damage" multiplier wouldn't hurt my build, you have to remember that it also it has to compete with some extremely powerful unique jewels (e.g. Timeless, Forbidden and Watcher's), let alone clusters. While it doesn't cost anything directly, the opportunity/passives cost is high. |
