[RANT] T16 Harvest + Archnemesis mods = WTF?

Im the first to be rude against AN core pool mods,rares with 10x shaper life etc...

Atleast in softcore you can play more then just jugg and occultist like your profile shows. [Removed by Support]

Atleast in softcore you can play more then just jugg and occultist like your profile shows. [Removed by Support]


Occultist and Jugg have never been the meta on the last leagues.
SSFHC pro players don't play jugg this league (<1%)

i have been already one shotted with 6.5k hp, 20k armour, endurange charges, molten shell, 79+ all res, 100% spell suppres, fortify etc.... this league. AND it was on a T4 map without mods.

Now imagine you act like a white knight to justify that it should not happen to a 3.5k HP random char on a T16 map.

FYI: I was playing HC characters in past leagues, too - HC is different story, and ofc we would prioritize life and defense there. But this thread is not about HC.

As for Jugg - properly developed Jugg char being 1-shot on T4 maps is complete BS. This simply shouldn't happen, and and it's a bad design, if it does (assuming you weren't standing in some deadly sh.t).

As for myself - I am not a tank / melee class, and my defenses and life pool is designed not for continued face-tanking the boss, or hugging large pack of the mobs. I should NOT attempt to have tank-level defenses and life pool, either. Game should be playable for non-tank classes, too.

What's the goal for my Raider (and other ranged DPS builds) is to endure up to 300-500 milliseconds of taking moderate damage - enough to activate additional flasks and/or dash out of the danger zone. I don't really need more, with my reflexes - and it worked completely fine in 3.17. I was able to deal with Shaper etc. with similar defenses (~60k effective hit pool, ~24k maximum effective hit taken). Including Harvest events.

But currently it's all f.cked up in 3.18, and builds that worked perfectly fine in 3.17 now struggle heavilly - in events like Harvest, mobs from essences with 5+ mods, etc. And if game is playable ONLY for HC-ready tank builds, then it doesn't look like a proper game balance to me.

mitigation is everything not life pool. mitigation first.

AN is just a balance-mess and three rushed and badly done patches tell us exactly that.

But I don't mind. I didn't pay for that, it's a free game, so it's fine with me.

Totally agree

I should have never died to this 0 mods T4 blue pack (steel infused + chaos weaver iirc). I'm the first one really disppointed by 3.18 trust me...

I have to admit i have 0 softcore experience and after reading your first post, 3.5k hp just seemed irrelevant to me but i guess that's just because i have never played softcore. I appreciate your explanations and adress you my sincere escuse if my first post was "rude".

3600HP is not the point. If you die in 0.1 sec with 3600HP, you'll be still die in 0.2 sec with 7200HP.

Harvest's rewards no more match its difficulty. If you don't play meta builds with super high DPS, I suggest you just ignore this content.
