Price fixing (no afk)

Im really interested, if price fixing is under "scamming" decision, or what GGG think about this.

Trade is huge part of game, but on many midlle/high cost items is price fixers, which place their item for 3-10 or more hours. They are not afk, they not answer, simple "here".

If i add them to "friends" i see they stay in HO, coz they are not afk, they not busy, so they know what they are do.

GGG please say your opinion.

It's hard to prove that someone is price fixing. Just because they don't answer whispers doesn't mean they are price fixing. You'd need to show a pattern of listing low prices, buying at those prices but not selling at them, and only selling at higher prices.

GGG needs to err on the side of caution here. With the way trade is done, it's a pain in the ass. People WILL ignore whispers if they just don't want to bother with it at the moment.

Personally if I suspect price fixing, I admit that I'll list at a lower price to see how many whispers I get without the intention of selling unless it sits at that price for several days. If I get a bunch of whispers in the first hour, I raise the price and repeat until the whispers slow down.

The other side of the coin are people whispering to buy, with the only intention of finding out if it's a real price or not.
ye but i speak about items like Divination cards or mirror / mirror shards, which are expensive and all know how much they are cost.

I understand when you cant correct pricing yellow item or some good mod (like fracture), but for items above all know the price.

Its like when you see 6 link good rolled Shavrone and placed for 3 hour+ 1ex beyond each other, 99.9(9)% scammer.

And when some1 post mirror shard for 10ex when all other trade 10.5+ and his stack of shards only growth, what there if no pricefix?

Price fixing was never prohibited, same as scamming players in trade (because you need to "check" item before accepting trade)
As Chris once said "Everything goes in Wraeclast". Or something like that.
Very easy way to fix price fixing. If you want to sell your item, it gets placed into a reserve neutral location somewhere until someone buys it or until the timer expires. This way if people who purposely try to game the system price an item low, they are forced to sell. Problem solved. =)
I know they cant fix 10ex / 1ex swap scamming, or 6 link scamming (btw neutral location can fix it, yes)

But what about reports?
They are added report for scamming, pls GGG can you say, is price fixing is scamming or no?

Right now divination card Unrequited Love is price fixed (1ex profit for every trade, good job). And.... report ofc dosnt work

Sure it's irritating but how is it scamming? No one is forcing you to sell for a low price.

It literally takes a couple of seconds to look up Unrequited Love on poe.ninja to find the real price, if you have something that valuable and can't spend 2 seconds to avoid selling it too low then that's your own fault.
