Summon skeleton elemental damage penalty + Minion Instability

I have tried to find an answer to this, but have not. Is the damage skeletons deal with minion instability reduced by the "50% less elemental damage" summon skeletons has? The wording would make me believe this is the case, but I would like confirmation one way or the other.

THey almost definitely are. That would be the tendency of GGG's skill descriptions. It probably would have included weapon if it only meant attacks.

While I would still like *official* confirmation, from some (poor) testing and the wording I think that the 50% less elemental damage does apply to minion instability. How unfortunate.
