Blue filament - no progress

Sentinel quest in act 1 says: "Place a Filament on the Sentinel Controller", i placed red sentinel in there and cannot progress any further with the quest, i'm stuck with only red filament, just one filament slot.

A sentinel is not a filament.
Filaments are what fill all the empty paths on the Sentinel controller. Once a filament has been placed, if you have enough Power Units, the path will be powered and the node at the other end of the path will be activated. Filamanets can be placed without limit, and can be added/removed at no cost. Since you can place filaments beyond your power capacity, you can plan ahead on your power controller--as you unlock more power units by killing empowered enemies, the extra units will automatically apply towards the closest connected but unpowered filaments on the tree. |
