HEADHUNTER / REPLICA HEADHUNTER / INSPIRED LEARNING A POSSIBLE SOLUTION FOR GGG

HEADHUNTER
-Gain 20 Death charges when you kill a rare monster for 20 seconds

REPLICA HEADHUNTER
-Gain 2 Death charge when you kill a magic monster for 20 seconds

INSPIRED LEARNING
-Gain 5 Death charges when you kill a rare monster for 20 seconds
(a cool sugestion would be to change inspired learning to give 1 Death charge when you kill a normal monster for 2 seconds so it would be more unique)

Death charges offensive buffs:
+1% increased global damage for each 1 death charge
+1% increased critical hit chance for each 1 death charge
+1% increased attack and cast speed for each 5 death charges
+1% increased critical hit multiplier for each 10 death charges
+1% increased area of skills for each 20 death charges
+1% increased all resistences penetration for each 20 death charges
+1% overwhelm physical damage reduction for each 20 death charges
+1% increased global damage over time multiplier for each 20 death charges

Death charges defensive buffs:
+1% increased all global defences for each 5 death charges
+1% increased mana for each 5 death charges
+1% increased life for each 10 death charges

Death charges utility buffs:
+1% increased movement speed for each 10 death charges
+1% increased non-curse aura effect for each 20 death charges
+1% increased curse effect for each 20 death charges

With a huge investment ppl would NORMALLY reach 60 buffs from headhunter in the past, if you guys would apply that change i suggested, those 60 kills would give:
+1200% increased global damage
+1200% increased critical hit chance
+240% increased attack and cast speed
+120% increased critical hit multiplier
+60% increased area of skills
+60% increased all resistences penetration
+60% overwhelm physical damage reduction
+60% increased global damage over time multiplier
+240% increased all global defences
+240% increased mana
+120% increased life
+120% increased movement speed
+60% increased non-curse aura effect
+60% increased curse effect


Using the inspired learning would be 1/4 of a headhunter overall, while using its replica would demand 10 times more magic monsters than rares to have the same effect (So its normally worse but could get even better than the normal version in soem cases)


This way you guys could change monster mods more freelly without having to think about those unique itens all the time
it would also have space for a new charge type with cool possible MTX and stuff...

that example I gave with 60buffs would probably still be weaker than the old version of headhunter, but i think it would be great overall cuz every kill would count

That's a good take on it, like the ideea.. but despite of what GGG is saying, i think that the HH nerf was intended and I don't think they are going to buff it in any significant way unfortunately.

they are throwing a lot of smokescreens at us

like this season "we didnt buff or nerf anything"

anything in the characters, but they buffed the monsters and bosses and nerfed the drops like crap, so indirectly they nerfed the players a lot.. hahahaha

they probably think we are stupid or something xD

thats why i put this idea here, and finished with a "make more money" take on it, so at least with that they might give it a try
Headhunter was a central point of complaints for years like reflect was on mobs in the past.

Allowing players to cheat into content with Headhunter in "hard mode" is not wanted by GGG.

You can take one for granted. Nothing is safe in this game.

The day will come when the dramatic unbalance of Chaos Immunity from Chaos Inoculation and Intelligence Stacking will be fixed for example by 5 Intelligence provdes 1% Spell Damage (not Energy Shield%) and CI only provides Chaos damage does not bypass Energy Shield - no chaos immunity.

This will be the day I will laugh big times.

P.S. If any developer reads this. Please fix resource free to use vaal skills from legacy Soul Catcher Flasks with flask effect. Thanks in advance.

I have never felt further from what I know and love
I think the best solution is to let buffs refresh if you attempt to steal the same buff again. This is the first obvious solution.

Currently, if you have say "Hasted" and kill a monster with Hasted, it won't refresh the buff. It definitely should.

I would also like to see them buffing HH buff durations to somewhere between 30 or 40 seconds.

if they place a "refresh" and a fixed 30 seconds (that could not be increased or decreased by any effect like self curse etc)

it would be fine as well


problem is, inspired learning alone would almost be as good as the belt itself as of right now
