How would you change the AN-mods?

I would remove all the idiotic ones like effigy and invulnerable, and reduce the complexity of the remaining ones as much as possible.

take "rejuvenating" for example - why isn't it just "fires a healing pulse for X% life every Y seconds" and THATS IT? why does it need to do any more than that, given that there are probably 3 or 4 of these fuckers on your screen at any one time (and way more than that in cases such as harvest and expedition)?

simplify the hell out of all of this (which i thought was one of the primary motivations in the first place), give all rare monsters whatever % increased life and damage you think is appropriate for good gameplay, and you're done. game fixed. i'll be playing cookie clicker until then.

Remove them.
reduce the interactions and the number of them that spawn together, so you don't get pincered and one-shot all the time.
