Short frequent disconnects from the internet - only when playing PoE

I'm hopeless with forum posts so please let me know if you need anymore details!

I've noticed for a couple of leagues now that I get frequent disconnects from Path of Exile and it cuts out my whole internet for 30seconds - 2 minutes.

It only happens to me in the household* and it's only when I'm playing Path of Exile. I rarely disconnect outside of that and when I do it's the entire household

Didn't report until now because I assumed it was my internet and didn't notice until recently that it's only when I play PoE

Edit: * By "only happens to me in the household" I mean it doesn't happen to anyone else/anyone else playing in my house, just me - Sorry!

yeah you will need to look / fix whatever problem is in your home with your ISP connection since you have confirmed you have no problems playing other places.
So things like -->
- Make sure that the router/modem is using latest firmware.
- Make sure that router/modem settings are correct (if there is firewall and things like that).
- Make sure your Ethernet cable are in good order.
- Don't use WiFi connection.

Ah sorry by that I meant it doesn't happen to anyone else in my house, it only disconnects me from the internet (whether they're playing PoE or not, it's just me who's affected)

OK to diagnose some more, please do this -->

1. On PC1 (not your game pc) you open 2 command prompt windows -->
Window 1 = ping "your default gateway IP" -t
Window 2 = ping 8.8.8.8

2. On your game pc you do the same.
Now you start playing PoE and when you have the problem you need to check the command prompt windows on both PC's.

What is the result ?
