Skill gems leveling button hotkey

One thing i really don't like while i play poe is having to click on that plus on the side of the screen to level gems. Given that the cursor decides the direction of your movement/attacking it makes you stop to level them.

Why not binding it to a key for "leveling next gem" and having another to "Ignore next gem"?
That way i can atleast spam that key without impairing my ability to move the cursor where i want.
