Do the 7 new uber bosses really have no new fragments?
If so, why would someone normally kill a safely rolled boss of the 7 after their uber versions?
Last league, I did everything rolled rare, except the feared, that one was rolled magic. If they are just behind the new nodes, I do not see a single reason to run the normal ones anymore. This results in a way more expensive fragment prices (hello those 28 conditionals practicing again, again and again) and basically each non-uber run is a pure waste thanks to the trend, as the uber versions with max rolled rare versions will be facerolled by the typical carry + aurabot duos day 2-3. All-time non-streamer luckless dropless rewardless tons-of-time-playing non-TFT-er 100% solo player. So, it just turns out, we were lied to for years with the promises of a two-storied one PoE 4.0. All these worse and worse beta leagues, all these braindead changes, all lead to this. Last bumped on May 12, 2022, 12:33:31 PM

There is one single reason. You will die.
What is better? Reward from normal boss or no reward at all? |

Yeah after you unlock your voidstones and favorited maps there's no reason to EVER touch a boss ever again unless you're running it on hard mode. Fragment price will rise to the point where it's only profitable for people to run them on uber. Fragment bloat is probably the main reason there's not new keys for the new fights (like Blighted maps dropping Blight-Ravaged maps.) Even Shaper/Conqueror maps are not safe. You have to be able to complete the invitations rare with 100% increased effect of mods or they're not worth doing at all.
If 3.18 had nerfed the meta skills this would be the least noob-friendly league of all time. The gap between rich and poor that had shrunk in 3.17 has opened up wider than ever before. If Chris is right people will force their way through and spend extra time perfecting their builds and this league will have the best retention of any PoE league ever. I don't think so. |
