There's only one song i'd recommend for mapping - iron butterfly (not my vid!).
And temple of the dog is also very good. Just do it! And keep it simple -

" Good call. Love Rock and Metal, everything from the older stuff like Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, etc. to newer stuff like Jinjer, Trivium, Black Veil Brides. The older original stuff seriously fits the game well, especially bands like Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath for more on theme elements. A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

Not sure I can really pick favorites but I've mostly been listening to the new Ghost album or the last album by Spiritbox. They've both been in heavy rotation lately.
