I am a returning player. I haven't played the game for years because the standard league atlas keeps getting reset.
It seems the atlas system has been changed. So my question is will the standard league atlas in the new system still get reset frequently? If not, I will be interested in playing again. Otherwise, I will not.

Every new league. You can just run a legacy map rare corrupted and unlock the whole thing in one hit.
edit T16
We tested it extensively Last edited by Icholas#7287 on May 6, 2022, 4:30:38 PM

I don't have any "legacy map rare corrupted", but thanks!

All your maps are legacy each time a new "league" starts. Each league have a map standard and all maps including maps in standard becomes legacy at this point until they get converted.
This is how it is and have ALWAYS been since the atlas expansion.
So my advice is this for your atlas in standard. Just before a "league" end, then you some Yellow corrupted T16 maps and make sure the mods are not to bad.
You then keep these maps in a seperate stash tab.
Then when the new league starts and atlas in standard is reset, you just run that map you created and saved and vupti Atlas in standard is completed (95%).
Only thing you need to do is run 4 * NEW (map converted to current league type) T16 maps to complete the rest.

Thanks for your detailed explanation. The thing is I have never seen a yellow corrupted map at all. I do have some yellow maps, but not corrupted. Not sure how hard to get those.

You take a T16 map and then use an "Orb of Alchemy" on it. Then after that, you use a "Vaal Orb" on it = now you have a yellow T16 corrupted map. :)

Thanks. I will try it later. Can I do it on any yellow map, or just T16 yellow map?

For maximum (like 95%) atlas unlock, it has to be a T16 Yellow corrupted map.
