doppelganger guise vs gruthkul's pet

For my animate guardian I think gruthkul's pet is a better choice as it has a perma 5% life regen, while doppelganger has a 10% regen over 1 sec only if hit. Am I wrong?

In terms of tankiness and survivability, Guise is almost definitely straight-up better due to the less Physical and Chaos damage taken (Elemental is relatively easy to mitigate). The only thing I'd be worried about is pure DoTs, as if he's not getting hit he will not regenerate.

I use the guise and the only thing that typically threatens my AG is very powerful degen ground, like Sirus's.

This league I lost one AG, and it was in a 40% beyond delirium map where I got overwhelmed. Guise and The Oak didn't save it. Gave next one a life gain on block shield instead and it never dipped below 95%.
