Grasping Vines Are Killing The Game
It killed Leap Slam and Lightning Warp definitely, at the least. What's the good of movement speed? What's the good of 'You Cannot Be Hindered' option? What's the good of evasion? You cannot escape grasping vines, the crawling chaos of inevitable death.
GGG, you had invited unavoidable hindrance, abominable tentacles that make characters powerless and rape them. It seems you love hentai manga too much. I had almost abandoned Harvest because of the grasping boss, and had abandoned Archnemesis enemies beyond tier 1 after a few cocooned death. If you do not get near unpleasant contents, you do not have to endure them. I'm gaming, not working. Sadly, it was not enough. They are everywhere. Now I hesitate to get near the enemies because I'm weary of helpless death. Am I gaming, really? I sincerely sympathize attack characters. They should get near THEM. They have no chance against repeated death if they do not have tons of instant damage and kill enemies before getting surrounded. This game denies every movement based builds now, and only Uber Damage characters may survive. Farewell, thousands of unique builds. The creator denies diversities. Congratulations, GGG, the PoE cannot escape the grip of grasping vines anymore, as you wish. People do not love helplessness not like vines, and do not forget it easily as the vines. They always aimed the top 0.1% elite players to design their game.
There're aura bot teams trivialize game contents with avg. 100m dps and super tank defense for every team members. There's some people completed all gauntlet events in 3 days. So they invented 1 millions ways to slow down players, and increased mobs' damage more and more to oneshot players. They don't care about that there're 99% builds are unviable in this game. They don't care about that most players can't do end-game bosses in 3 months. |

POE2 should be the ruthless vision experience and POE1 should be the zoom power fantasy sandbox to capture both audiences.
I petition to return all the fun stuff that was removed or nerfed over the years back into POE1. |

From my experience, they will remove Grasping Vines only to add another frustrating mechanic.

I'm really surprised there are this many complaints about vines, its a pretty shit mechanic but I barely ever notice it which probably means its a real pita for glass cannons (a theory).

" Leap slam doesn't remove it, which is basically all melee builds that don't want to use another slot for Dash or flame dash. Never used Whirlwind Blades, but i believe that doesn't remove it either. Typically, aurabots are pretty starved for gem slots, so most don't want to reserve a slot for a (mostly useless) gem because they alredy have such amounts of MS. Ruthless should be [Removed by Support].
