endless sim (simulacrum) waves + leaderboards
I like the state of the game! But what this game needs is endgame content and long term motivation!
endless sim waves with constantly increasing difficulty. Would be a nice challenge. Accordingly a leaderboard containg how far poeple pushed their build there. This have to be seperated leaderboards in 1. solo 2. 2 player 3. 3 player 4. Full team etc.. (leaderboard for delve likewise would be cool). Implement for League and Standard same way. Other Ideas for leaderboards could be dps, most overall kills, fastest boss kills, etc .. (Maybe provide best poeple with some sort of reward?) Cheers. Edit: Like on an older post allready suggested: an option to save ur sim progress somehow and go on later from the last wave you finished. Would go hand in hand with delve (also endless content and u can go on from ur latest progress). Last edited by yOk84#2060 on Apr 12, 2022, 7:01:39 PM Last bumped on Apr 13, 2022, 8:02:40 PM

Seriously? Delve, The Feared and Simulacrum are alredy great benchmarks for endgame content and long term motivation.
Leaderboards for a game like PoE in which skill means nothing and currency means everything, it's a lot easier to get frustrated than motivated with endless mechanics. It's literally the reason they removed the Eternal Lab time leaderboard. One dude was hoarding all the Emperor's Mastery and asking 100ex for each. Furthermore, it doesn't make sense to pick Simulacrum as an endless mechanic. GGG is pretty adamant that it doesn't like mechanics in which you can get infinite rewards with a one time price tag. And even if you remove all rewards after wave 30, i can assure you, within a week anyone that can do it will ignore it because it's literally a waste of time. Not to mention an alredy ridiculous small percentage of the community can do it reliably. If you have 100 mirrors and is bored because you don't have more challenges, try beating those endgame challenges in SSF or Hardcore. If you alredy have 100 mirrors in SSF or Hardcore, masking boredom as lack of endgame content and long term motivation really is a bit hypocritical. And if you ask me, those leaderboards only boots ego and not long term motivation. Ruthless should be [Removed by Support].
