What would you use to improve visual quality of PoE?

Why would you need to chose in between two?
Artists are doing artist things, game designers doing gameplay.
It's not like denying artist to do it's work - game designers suddenly gets betetr ideas.
Because money.
What would money do with it?
If you wouldn't hire any artist - you would have a game. No matetr how much you like or dislike game graphics - it still need to be shown, for you to be able to play.

Very informative argument...
You have a wonderful day as well.
Slowing down the game notch or two will give lot more visual clarity. You can expect that from PoE2.
Wasn't 4.0 postponed because they (devs) couldn't find specific type of artist for development?
Or was that a fake news?

And tbh, you still can at any time stop and appreciate game visuals. Especially in safe places, like campaign trade hubs, hideouts, heist hub, etc.
Hideouts especially. Hard(er) to make people appreciate work you've done on your hideout, when game graphics are "limited". And yes, there always still will be people with potato PCs, who simply wouldn't be able to set graphics high on their end. Still, majority of people have at very least decent PC.
Btw, anyone know screenshot utility that capable properly capture screenshot in DLDSR mode?
Windows capture it in original resolution of 3413X1920, not downscaled 2560X1440. While ShareX seems incapable of capturing screenshots while in DLDSR at all - returns error.
I prefer great art direction over stunning visuals for visuals sake.

But, there comes a point where the gfx need to be updated.

I mean, mario64 would still be a great game regardless of a gfx update.

However an update could bring new life, IF thendevelopers used thennew gfx to add more lore to the worlds.
