Is there a youtube walktrough that explains EVERYTHING for a endgame noob?
I usually reach yellow maps, reach a currency barrier and say fuck it and quit the game.
I tried the Ziggy videos and all that shit but honestly it's either too casual or uber complex, no middle ground. Some videos take is steady then timeskip from a 5c to 5ex gear "i got a lucky drop". Streamers are unwatchable, they're too bored of the game to not just zoom trough the game and i don't understand shit. Is there a series out there that explains this game for someone not on the spectrum or that spends in average 400 hours/month in a ARPG? Honestly i blame GGG for being uber nerds with stupid nerd systems. Last bumped on Apr 5, 2022, 9:12:27 PM

It's about spending time. You need experience. You need coordination. There's no quick fix for that. You've likely had that "lucky drop" but don't have the experience with the game to recognize it. There are people out there who want the items you find. You have to be in their heads to know that they want it. Can't teach that. Can't put it on a video for you.

Do you quit after reaching yellow maps because your build cant clear red maps or you dont know how to progress further?
With current atlas passives, its very easy to progress to T16 even as SSF. You just need to know how to utilize Kirac (previosuly Zana) mission to unlock maps you didnt get. Thats the first thing you should try to learn, if you didnt yet. If its build problem tho, then find build guide that says the build is league starter. Those usually dont need any expensive gear and are good enough to clear red maps with. After you unlock big part of Atlas and get around 80 atlas passive points, then its time to pick what league mechanic you like to run. Almost every league mechanic from atlas can be profitable (rogue exiles and tormented spirits feel like meme, but other than that everything is good). Make atlas passive tree in a way to boost league mechanics you like and now its just grind time. You grind maps (starting with alch&go) you get currency, you upgrade you gear, so you can run better maps and so on. |

It's probably better to watch how experienced SSF players actually progress the atlas.
Havoc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCT-4Bwx6DM Streamers to check out Ventrua Karv Waggle Steel Lightee7 You will focus on one or two mechanics once you complete your atlas, so it makes no sense to learn everything. In terms of streamers I would recommend Palsteron. He's very straight forward and non-gimmicky, non click-baity. I ran his low cost atlas strategy as my main currency generator for the league and it gave very nice returns. These might not be the most noob friendly and maybe a bit advanced but I don't think they're overly complicated. These were my go-to videos in ArchNemesis league. Very simple strategy and very cheap.
Making Currency by Being Fast - Cemetery Alch-And-Go https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vXpRz1Sfpiw How I Farmed My First 100 Exalts in 3.17 - Low-Investment Alch-and-Go https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mzuIyIdb7VA Boss-Rushing ft. Essences- Making Currency Late in the League https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHj9eLwJVNk The strategy is to only run 2 scarabs (rusted cartographer and rusted breach) then stockpile the rest of the scarab drops for bulk selling. You're also farming essences while building a stockpile. Eldritch currency and boss invitations are the other big sellers in addition to getting lots of guardian/conquerer maps as a byproduct which are nice 'tokens' that can be sold in bulk. I really miss Engineering Eternity. Videos that dude made should be considered as PoE legacy.
So well made nothing even today reached his level of quality of content and narration. Somehow he even managed to capture PoE ambiance into them. Last edited by TorsteinTheFallen#1295 on Apr 3, 2022, 12:47:38 PM

" The game is way to complex to tune in for something that explains it all. I would focus on a mechanic you enjoy and go for a build that is enabled early on with very little investment (for instance Seismic Trap Saboteur, Bane Occultist etc.). Stay away from builds that mostly have one shot showcases, you won't be able to afford those with at least 20ex+, and in most cases 100ex+. Some good guides to follow are Subtractems Bane build, ShakCentrals cold dot Occultist if that helps. If you need any advice on builds feel free to reach out. |
