Can I ask for help on fire crit inquisitor build?

Hi! Help and information sounds right but didn't see any threads asking for help on builds and the build section seemed to be for presenting builds.

I'm ofc a noob and started to follow this guide 1-30 https://www.poe-vault.com/guides/purifying-flame-inquisitor-build-guide for 3.11

I noticed a lot of passives in the tree where missing so I started to map this one https://www.poe-vault.com/guides/spark-inquisitor-build-guide 30-50 still with fire damage/critical passives in mind.

Then realized I'm fucked after the first Kitava fight, a vet saved with me some armour and I started mapping as this guy https://poe.ninja/challenge/builds/char/%EA%B3%A1%EC%84%B1%EC%9D%98%EB%A3%8C%EC%9B%90%EC%9D%B4%EC%83%81%EB%AF%BC/%EB%A7%A5%EC%95%84%EB%8B%A4%EC%9E%A5%EA%B5%B0?i=2&search=class%3DInquisitor%26skill%3DPurifying-Flame

Can you help me save this pantless bad boy?

This is my current POB http://poeurl.com/dCA4

I think I need more life/defence, more unreserved mana, refunding Iron will (-10% DPS) and putting them Discord Artisan Herald buff but not sure which herald to chose besides Ash and not sure how to fit it all if I want to have:
Determination + Zealotry + Discipline? + Herald of ash + Tempest shield + Determination banner + amother Herald ? Can I ask for help on inquisitor build?

The play style I want to achieve is high dps, medium tanky enough to not get one hit and dash away.

I might have 20 c and 2 ex + lower currency to start buying armour. What would you do?

I would caution against using builds on poe.ninja as a reference, especially the high budget ones.

If you do use poe.ninja, I would recommend looking into the SSF ones at league start so you can see how the build can function on affordable gear.

This is an example.

Also, 3.11 is far too outdated. Following guides that are over a year old is almost certain to result in problems.

Here are a couple of general points:

- You are using too many unique items. Your weapon in particular is terrible for your build and your belt is bad as well. "Increased quantity of items" found is a stat you could describe as a luxury. You can get it if your build already works, but you should ignore it in favour of items you actually need for your build.

- You have far too little life. You generally want a minimum of around 150% increased life on your passive tree. 160-180% are normal. You also want added life on each of your equipped items with at least reasonably high rolls.

- You do not need any investment into a larger mana pool. Most reservation is percentage based, so if you end up reserving most of your mana anyway, the total makes no difference. You also will not be able to reserve as many auras and other skills as the top builds, so you need to carefully consider which of the skills you will keep using.

- I would not bother with investing into block and Glancing Blows until you can get a reasonable block and spell block chance and some form of recovery on block. And if you do invest into block, actually try to get as close to the maximum chance as possible.

- You should get a 5-link or 6-link for your main skill and use better support gems. You generally do not want your main skill to be supported by either Iron Will or Arcane Surge. Buying a level 21 Purifying Flame without quality would also be a cheap way to gain a large upgrade for your dps.
Thank you very much!

I'm having a hard time finding gear, I actually borrowed most of what I have and the belt is only for dex points to allow carrying it. Thank you for the link, I will see how much of that I can get with 30-40 chaos to spend.

I guess it's time to pull an excel spreadsheet next to poe.trade or is there a recommendation function in pob?

I think I'm at 70% life increase on the tree. I will spend more on life from now. I have 20-25% max life 3-4 points away, 10% max life/8% ES for 2 points and take 30% damage as life for 4 points, is the last one worth it?

I have 50->60% block chance, can I get 10-15% from a reasonable cheap shield then that should be worth it. Should I keep points on spell block or reinvest somewhere else?

I'm currently using Wave of conviction as main as it hits 50% harder than purifying due to avatar of fire. No idea if PF will scale later or I messed up the allocation.

Last question, Should I invest the last 10-15 points on large jewel top left?

You cannot spam Wave of Conviction because the previous wave disappears when you create a new one, thus Purifying Flame is significantly more useful for single target damage unless you stay in melee range.

Whether or not investing into jewel sockets is worth it depends on the jewels you have for the slot.
