Blight bug - can't create towers
There seems to be a bug in blight encounters where you can't add any tower at all! Happened twice already. I click on the icon to create a tower and select one but nothing happens.

Cassia has to go there. Maybe she got stuck somewhere?

Get a bug report number while in the zone. Read the stickies so you know what/how to post.
GGG uses that number to recreate the instance and find and fix these things; without it, they can't. So far, the Universe is winning."

If you spend 30 minutes farming maps with Blight scarabs you'll encounter this issue multiple times. That this hasn't been fixed by now is just baffling. It was reported in 2019.
If this is actually related to Cassia failing to reach a tower, a simple fix would be to just give Cassia infinite range and no line of sight requirement for building towers. There is no good reason for her to require these things. It's already tedious enough as it is to try to build towers while monsters are streaming at you from every direction without having to deal with this nonsense. I've always felt like Cassia was irrelevant to this issue. My hypothesis is that it's some kind of UI overlapping bug with hidden UI elements blocking your attempted mouse clicks, or something of that nature. This is just my gut feeling/intuition, speaking, though. I could be completely wrong. Last edited by carkasjak#7673 on Apr 8, 2022, 7:08:46 AM

So in attempting to reproduce this it only took me 3 maps with blight scarabs to run into it. Here's a video demonstrating the issue. You can clearly see that at one point Cassia is in the room with the tower slot and should definitely have range and line of sight of it. (I'm running Lockstep, so it should not be a desync issue).

Didn't see any mention of this in recent patch notes, so I'll assume it's still a thing.
