Feedback on Glacial Hammer and Alva temple

Glacial Hammer problems: I love this skill but unfortunately it has been left behind for many years and the recent removal of threshold jewels basically destroyed what little it had. Less than 5 people are currently even using the skill (and they are forcing it).

Glacial Hammer problems: The main drawbacks for glacial hammer are the weapon restrictions (mace, spectre, staff), it has no natural aoe now that threshold is gone, almost no upside for the gem.

problem 1: I think allowing people to be unarmed for glacial hammer would open a ton of options for this skill. It would let you hollow palm or any other unarmed stacking build which would help it's damage significantly.

problem 2. What does this gem even do? It might as well just be a slight damage conversion with a freeze damage proc that basically never works when you need it most. You could do so much to reward the player for chilling or simply for cold to be the highest portion of your damage. Maybe it has an effect that when you hit one chilled enemy all nearby chilled enemies also get hit. Or maybe upon killing a chilled enemy they deal damage based on the chill/freeze effect to all nearby enemies causing an explosion chain like infernal blow but based on the chill effect! Just anything, this skill is really fun and it deserves some love!

Alva temple is great and the new atlas passive tree makes it even better! On ssf it feels really bad to have a pile of temples with t3 altars and lens, like I just see a ton of work and it is less enjoyable than mapping (for me). What if in the temple when you go to the altar(t3 corruption room) or lens (t3 gem room) it drops an orb on the ground that does the same thing (double corrupts an item or gem respectively) but you can just run the temple now and save the orb for later!

Tried to keep it brief, thanks for reading I would love to see some changes to glacial hammer <3

My personal gripe with Glacial hammer is that it just feels like a worse version of heavy strike.

- Instead of a stunlock, you are trying to achieve a freeze lock, which is a lot harder to do naturally.
- Kind of awkward with the built in ruthless (Every third strike considering the cold damage stronger by a huge chunk), vs the more "consistent" chance to deal double damage with heavy strike
- Damage effectiveness on the skillgems itself
- Stronger flexibility due to being a physical attack, rather than a cold one (Skill gem variaty mostly)

For Alva, I would welcome the addition for the locus of corruption and doryani's institute to be a tradeable orb. This way, if your goal within the temple isn't tied for double corrupting something but trying to get a unique item, maps, currency or whatever you have in the temple at the moment could be done, while keeping the other stuff stashed away.
This is also an upside for tradeleague, if you can trade an "Unstable vaal orb" or "Doryani's Fractured lens" (Whatever you wanna call it), instead of having to rely on trust when corrupting on the spot, or speeds up the unnecessary need to buy a whole temple just to get one thing done.
As someone who runs Alva temples in trade league, the main issue with the tradable temples versus tradable currency items is that nobody searches for T3 gems+T3 corruption, so there's very little extra value from multiple good rooms.

Yeah, I feel that. It's the main reason why at some point I specced out of Alva on the Atlas and went into something else.

You end up having to use trade chat to sell both of those, or just take the loss. It's a certified FeelsBadMoment. Gieb Currency Orbs, Plis
