Crafting stat stick
Hey, I have a question for people who have more experience in crafting than I do.
What would be needed to craft the following weapon so that it receives the #% chance to deal double damage while focused" mod and still has the option to roll rather good "#% of damage as extra elemental damage" Is it even possible or remotely cost efficient to create something that has spell damage, 2x mods for elemental conversion and said double damage mod? Harvest is not possible, so the only other way I could see is either Aisling or veiled chaos orbs. Last bumped on Mar 18, 2022, 7:37:52 AM

Since the double damage mods are suffixes, they are actually the easiest to craft.
You could spam essences of woe until you get one of the t1 phys as extra mods (~30 average attempts), annul a third prefix if there is one, fill the suffixes including "cannot roll attack mods" and slam an exalt. The possible results are +1 to level of socketed gems (1/7), t3-1 for the other phys as extra mod (3/7), and t3-1 elemental penetration (3/7). If you really want two t1 phys as extra mods, you can sell the ones that do not hit it. If you have only one suffix after the essence spam but have full prefixes, you can either use the beastcraft remove prefix add suffix or use Harvest reforge keep prefixes until you get two suffixes so that you do not need to multimod or slam a suffix with an exalt to fill them. After you have your prefixes as you like them, you can craft prefixes cannot be changed and use T4 Aisling or a veiled chaos orb to add a veiled suffix. T4 Aisling has the advantage of definitely leaving an open suffix that you can use to craft a regular version of a veiled mod to restrict the mod pool to improve your chances of getting the double damage while focused mod, plus you can craft a different veiled mod afterwards. I do not know if this is the most efficient approach, but it does not seem too inefficient from what I can tell. Overall, I would recommend using a thorn rapier (which is the base with a 35% critical strike multiplier implicit mod that has the lowest dexterity requirement) with an item level of at least 80. If you consider playing with Crystallised Omniscience, I would recommend getting item level 82, which prevents some other mods from rolling but allows t1 attribute mods. |
