thank you guys. i wanted to show my support for the devs for making an awesome game and keeping up with it. with buying the supporter packs i got a gift of my choosing. i chose the exalted orb hoodie and i love it. thanks again!

I'll wear mine if I get really behind on laundry. Metal band apparel just skews higher quality than game merch. Strange but true given the latter often costs more.

You don't really think that's strange :p you can't possibly believe that game merch isn't a license to charge more for less. It always has been even back in the days of "see through" controllers that cost twice as much.

I personally blame 200$ SWG collectors edition buyers for this who set an industry precedent that we really would pay anything.

Strange in that they're both branded merch. Maybe bands just have better hookups and a longer history of using clothing to promote their brand, whereas game devs are sort of lost in the woods there half the time.

Amusingly the highest quality tshirt I own is a Bioware staff-only Jade Empire one I "borrowed" from my partner years ago. Pure cotton and super thick comfy knit.
