Hello Grinding Gear Game
I am an administrator of a gamer community with more than 1 million members in Vietnam. I am writing this letter to express my frustration with the way the Path Of Exile team works. Specifically, the team reviews the account lock complaint.
I am also a gamer who has been playing the game Path Of Exile since 2010 and I think I am qualified to speak out for this injustice.
Pyrelics Gaming is a channel that shares tips on how to play POE. His English is very good so he brought POE to Vietnam, helped us better understand the game and created a very good community.
On February 28, 2022, his account was locked. Here is that Video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a-J-CYw0nmg
He shared that he has been with this game since 2014 but now his account has been locked for the very silly reason of using 3rd party software.
REALLY SO WRONG. Every time he plays, he's steaming on youtube with everyone.
The software he uses is all software that I also use. For example Path Of Building or Awakened Trade. Are this 2 software banned? To announce and BANN all POE players because they all use it and we use it too.
He was sad a lot, even crying on the live stream for a very unreasonable reason, he was innocent.
Until 03/14/2022, he received the permanent BAN email. WTF? What the hell did your team do? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lNklssarRFc
Locked 1 player's account since 2014 and he made a great contribution to creating a POE community in Vietnam?
As an admin of a very large gaming community in Vietnam, I ask your Team to transparently and objectively check it out and then unlock it again for him.
Currently I still play POE and feel very afraid that one day I will be like this myself.
Whose account did your team block I don't care but Pyrelics Gaming is a very good Youtube channel. Go to his livestream and watch it closely.
I hope to receive your reply as soon as possible. If his account is still locked, I will notify all of my 1 million users to leave your game because of your bad work.

He is depressed. He no longer wants to do anything else after receiving an automated email from the team. I was the only one who spoke up for him. Let's do something.

He was banned (not locked because that is something entirely differant in PoE term), he submitted an appeal and after an investigation he was then perma BANNED. He, like all others, have to follow the rules !!
You only knows what he have shared with you about this ban. You don't know if he off stream used botting tools, automated trade tools, macros and so on.

That's funny, so where's the proof? You should know 1 thing, the POE community I know has a lot of people with unreasonable BANNED. He already explained on the live stream.
Follow the rules? What Rules? Rules are BAN for no reason? Answer in a general way and without specific evidence? Rule is BAN 1 innocent person? Ridiculous
If RULES is like this, it's time for the POE community to stop and disappear. No one will play POE anymore.

Just reply to him an email giving concrete proof. The picture is clear in. Don't email in general like a robot saying RULES. FUCKING RULES.
I told you, if I don't make this clear, I won't let it go. We don't put money into POE for the team to act irrationally and ridiculously like this.
I will call on the whole community to speak out about this absurd act. Even DELETE the POE if possible. Stupid.

Like almost all gaming companies, you don't specify what specific detail that got an account banned. The reason for this is super simple --> it's helps the cheaters to hide on their next account.
This has been GGG's policy from the beginning like the other major gaming companies (Blizzard, Xbox and PSN for some).
Again you, like everyone else, should understand the ToS you agree to when you created your account !!
If you want to quit PoE, then that is 100% your decission.
Lastly "threats" will get you nowhere here other then either being put on probation or banned yourself....

Not going to bother reading all that BUT,
1. it dose not matter if you are a streamer, or someone that put tens of thousands of dollars into the game nor how many followers someone has, it WILL NOT protect you in any way.
2. If GGG have banned you and since reviewed it and are sticking with it they are fairly certain that you have broke their ToS, use your head on this one...why would they stick with a ban that could potentially loose them thousands of potential/current players if they were not sure, if it was something that was in error they have no problem unbanning you, but they also have no problem enforcing the ban.
3. the person banned is the ONLY person that should be trying to contact support to get the account unbanned you do them no favours spamming the forum with threats of and kind (and this BS 1 million member is a veiled threat) or emailing support on their behalf.
That can put your account at risk and may even push GGG into keeping the ban in place on the account you are trying to get unbanned.

I suggest not to go to BBS to publicize the withdrawal of Poe. If it is effective to hurt Poe, it is also harmful to your own community.
Would you feel better if I said that my account has more than 300mirror worth items, and then the account is permanently banned?
If I tell you again, I am also a community administrator, and the community is mine too. Will it feel better?
This could be worse, ha ha.that's the truth.
(I'm still angry at the result. I spent thousands of dollars on this game and accumulated results for 8 years... I never use any BOT and auxiliary plug-ins.)
