Alt still doesn't work to show mod levels for items on the ground after patch.

Awful change. Literally why?

Misinformed GGG employee probably. Wouldn't make sense to remove a feature like this.

Holding down alt does not allow you to view extended mod levels for items on the ground as stated in the patch notes. I have verified that "show full descriptions" is checked.

This is intended. Displaying the mod level/tiers on an item on the ground has been removed.

The patch note for the change was:
Using the Highlight Key when hovering dropped items now displays minimum and maximum defensive values again.

this is terrible, please please revert

nicely explains how bad this change is
It would be super if there was the ability to bind a new key specifically to toggle advance mod details on a single item when hovering the cursor. I think this might resolve whatever problems were present with tapping alt and having the entire field of item data parse through the filter api.

I'd bind this to ctrl or left-shift and be happy.

Yet another unpaid Path of Exile 2 Alpha Tester.

Any chance you could explain why? There's been a lot of theorizing about performance, but of course it's all just reading the tea leaves from out here. I'm very curious since it seems like a useful feature and I don't see how removing it might improve the gameplay experience.
