POB problem with .lua

Hello,

I came back to POE after a few years. Unfortunately, I have a big problem with starting POB. I get the error below. I tried on several versions, portable, with installation. Still the same. I was looking for a solution on the internet for several hours and still nothing.

Perhaps some of the forum members know the solution?

Best regards

the uninstall it, manually delete those directories and then install it again (run the installer as "an administrator").

Maybe you have some security software on your pc that is blocking this to work properly...

I was using the .zip version. Now I have disabled all Windows security. I downloaded the .exe version, installed it as administrator. I ran as administrator and no changes ;(

then you will need to contact POB support if they have any.....
By default all the app settings are saved in the \Documents\Path of Building folder.
The app itself can be installed either in C:\Program Files or C:\Users\Uzytkownik\AppData\Roaming folder.

Just uninstall PoB and delete each related directory manually.
Then try to install it in the user directory (PoB updates sometimes require unmanaged write access to its folder, so otherwise it can silently fail to install updates)

I'd recommend to save the \Documents\Path of Building\Builds folder if you want to keep some of the old characters you used before.
Problem: impostor syndrome
Solution: nerf everything
Result: depressing mess

I already wanted to write that I must give up, because I downloaded the POB on my girlfriend's laptop and the portable version worked right away, but I decided that I will test your way.
After all, Windows' judgments are unexplored.
I uninstalled the previous installation, created a new folder specifically for the POB, and it works!
You made me an evening buddy :)

Thanks to everyone for your interest, any ideas and have a nice future;)
