Atlas Passive Tree - Save Layouts

This started off as an interesting discussion, but has quickly devolved into an attack by the OP on anybody who disagrees with them and who only wants to see things a certain way, so I am dropping out of the conversation at this point.

Sure. if by attack you mean dismantle an irrelevant argument. This is only a qol improvement to the current system. I am not advocating for any change to the core system. That is what you are doing. You have offered two critiques.

1. you say it would be more simple for a new item to be introduced to save atlas points. I have demonstrated that an algorithm is simpler and doesn't require as many resources. But even if that wasn't true, it is much simpler solution to have a base cost to swapping trees. All problems resolved. I guess disagreeing with you = attacking you? There is even a the most simplest solution which is to make it cost however many points you have specc'd into the tree. So it always unspecs your full tree then respecs to your new tree. This will always be more expensive than manually doing it.

2. you say, and I'm quoting here, "you have to come up with a strategy that applies to everyone". I'm sorry what? It's a quality of life improvement. It makes 0 changes to the current system. It isn't meant to. I'm satisfied with the current system. I understand some people aren't, but that isn't what this topic is about. This topic is about a quality of life improvement to swapping around your atlas tree. You keep trying to change this discussion into more than a simple quality of life improvement. I'm simply trying to keep the discussion on target. Creating new items, changing the system where it's character based instead of account based are all changes to the core system. ie not quality of life improvements.
