Simple question : Void Stone Drop

Hi,
Can we drop our own Void Stone in another player hideout? Like, i party with a guy, i go to his hideout, he put his Uber Elder set, we go in area together, kill the dude, drop MY Void Stone. Do you have the Elder quest? I think even in other players map instance, if you still in the map, it still count as you to kill the Elder
But no if you drop your voidstone from inv in order to allow other player to pick up (otherwise it is a bug) This is the start of forum signature: I am not a GGG employee. I did have the Elder Quest when it happened so it was not a bug as what i read from you.
