Uber elder fight and watchers eye drops

the wiki says something about the elder not being able to drop a watchers eye if you dont do the unstable phase without dying. is it true for the uber elder also?

It's the Shaper that cannot die, when he helps you trap the Elder.
In Uber Elder you fight both, so both must die. |

In the Elder fight, Shaper must complete all 4 bindings in the add phase without dying for the Elder to be able to drop a Watcher's Eye.
In the Uber Elder fight, there is no such phase. There are no requirements for dropping a Watcher's Eye in this fight. |
