The icky reason why P.o.E is the only Game i Despise the notion of spending money in

I get by with only 4 tabs most of the time, outside of having a premium tab, currency tab, divination card tab(debatable) you don't really need much unless ur a hoarder.(i have a bunch more tabs and they are all premium+)

Free players should be able to obtain a premium tab without paying(the same way i did by the way) by participating in their racing events and then i had just barely enough points on a SALE to buy it but damn if i didn't get it without paying a single cent.

No they don't, I haven't bought a stash tab since the currency tab was added

Want to stop having storage problems? Stop storing shit its as simple as that.

They cut down on stash storage space usage by like 80% when they made fragments stack its easier now than ever. If you want to be a completionist pony up, if your anyone else stop storing garbage like a squirrel hording nuts :p Winter aint coming.

yep.

check out the amount of storage space you get in diablo 3 for example. if you pay for 1 pack of tabs here you probably have more storage than having maxed out that games stash from all the seasons.

as ever im less than moved by another case of moral outrage aimed at ggg tbh. they remain one of the least offensive companies ive given significant money to in my life.
I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)
Let me first say your post made fair points I've seen posted here repeatedly... but you cheapened the post with nasty allegations and exaggerated examples.

My thoughts on your posts good points:

1 - Can't name free stashes or list items for trade in-game using default stashes.

A fair point in my opinion. I believe GGG should get rid of/convert all default stashes into premium stashes. The stash trade method of listing items should be available for free.
I suspect this hasn't been done because this change would assist botters.

2 - trade process sucks

Yes it does. I agree trade needs an overhaul to reduce trade friction for most minor purchases... but I am fine with super chase, big ticket trades being a pain in the ass.

3 - Item bloat means players not buying stash tabs worse off than ever!

I'm not a fan of all the item bloat either - especially the currencies and fragments and div cards. New uniques are fun though.

4 - stack sizes and some items not stacking

Yeah I don't think the start stashes allow free players sufficient space for currency and maps. Maybe all players should get a lesser version of the premium currency/map tabs which give 25% of normal capacity - with the option to upgrade? I do agree these tabs feel mandatory.
Otherwise let currency stack higher.

Your points I mentioned above are fair in my opinion and one's I come across time and again... I don't believe they're ignoring these issues out of malice or greed, I feel that's too harsh to say especially given the fact in newer leagues like Heist, Expedition and Archnemesis the content has its own stash. Also GGG is constantly updating various premium stashes to include relevant items from newer leagues, this update improves our already purchased tabs. If they were malicious or greedy they wouldn't do this.

When I zoom out and look at GGG and Path of Exile as a whole... I see there's no upfront cost or subscription cost, they've chosen the fairest access model letting people play the game for free.
Also no other game developer has delivered as much content and kept me engaged as long as GGG/Path of Exile... so I see USD$20-30 of stashes which have become VITAL in my opinion as extremely fair given how many hours this game has entertained me.

poe has been one of the first games which completely avoided pay to win elements.

and it's a undeniable fact that it wouldn't exist, if they didn't sell stash right from the start.

---

a subscription type game similar to poe typically asks for around 120$ per year.

if you spent more than that on poe and bought stash from it, you probably don't use it as it gives you not much advantage.

btw: using words like "milking players" in that context is highly provocative but since you wrote for people to counter it to gtfo, i will stop here and do so.
