WTF is going on with clicking things???

I started having these issues today where it would take me 2-4 tries to click something. When I would click on something on the ground it's like it completely missed it. At first I thought it was me but now I'm convinced it isn't. Along with the d-sync issues and rubber banding. It really is aggravating and annoying. Is this a known issue? Never really experienced this until today.

I have this problem all the time in the labs. If I'm standing next to switch and try to click it, it won't work. I have to walk away, then walk towards it and click while I'm walking to work.
yeah i was getting it a lot.

after examining it a lot i noticed actually im mousing over things and its not registering its under my mouse, it doesnt highlight the box/boulder/chest etc until i stop moving, move my mouse off the box and then move it back over it again without having my force move held down or whatever else i had going on.

then it white outlines the object showing im mousing over it and i can open it.


its maddening.


i saw in the patch notes they said something about fixing an issue that sounded like it could have been this one. ive not really played a lot and tried to see if im still getting it tbh.

As someone with usually quite fragile chars i instantly teleport from a Strongbox after clicking - I was starting to feel kind of stupid for Blink-Arrowing an average of 2-3 times this league before the box actually triggers....
Yeah definitely a issue. I tried making a fast build that utilize Shrine nodes and the Gull raven mask. I thought it was the fact that the lesser shrines was only a halo of candles and difficult to click, but found even if highlighted it wont register at times. So the combination of these two things made the build basically useless, as it requires you to be able to run smoothly through the map, not standing on a shrine clicking away trying to get it and get it to register.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who is experiencing this. I thought I was going mad. I'd click on my stash then it would teleport to my guild bank, sometimes to other NPC's. It's as if I have no control what I'm clicking on at times.

I did the same, made a lightning strike build w/gull mask and not only am I having issues with clicking on the shrines etc...the rubber banding...omg. Seems like old times with the d-sync issues, almost as bad as that.

I thought the rubber-banding was on my side :o I don't even use dash etc., as I just end up back where I was anyway, when using that build.

maybe a few things for you, since you mention rubberbanding that means you are getting latency, if you are getting enough latency you are defaulted to predictive (or you just use it) then the latency will ensure you are not in the correct position, they also patched a fix for clicking boxes (could be bugged or it could be that your connection problem is interacting badly with the patch)

If you want to call 50ms latency ... then probably. Otherwise something else is wrong that have similar symptom.
