Remove Tormented Spirits - They're useless
These things are the bane of my existence. They are absolutely useless and make my bosses impossible. Just had a lair of the hydra map which usually takes me about 30-60 seconds for a full clear with guardians aid. I would hurt the hydra, they would spawn minions and be full health after their invulnerable phase due to the tormented spirit. It was LEGIT IMPOSSIBLE to kill lest I one shot it. WTF am i to do? It is utterly infuriating to put all this time and currency into a build I KNOW is well off, just for these stupid green ghosts to appear randomly and make my maps impossible.
Do these even GIVE bonuses? I doubt it! I never even notice a difference except me dying when these green a**holes are around. If they are supposed to affect drops, I do NOT see it whatsoever (and this is multiple instances of this happening on the same maps). Please do the exiles a favor and remove them. The headache of the extra difficulty is not worth the "reward" if there even is any. Last bumped on Feb 26, 2022, 8:32:14 AM

I respecced all of the torment nodes since they drop absolutely nothing and break boss mechanics

i love tormented spirits. Free iiq multiplier on tons of enemies? yes please.
I have never had a problem with tormented spirits not possessing a rare...if there is one even remotely in range the spirit goes directly for it almost every time. As a summoner, free roaming spirits tend to die before they have a chance at possessing something. That's pretty much what happens to most spirits.
However, when you're not trying to herd cats and they happened to spawn right next to rares/bosses and possess them almost instantly, they tend to be valuable enough. This is especially true for Incursion temples if you made a T2 or T3 Torment Cells room. PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.
