fire resistance help

the dog thingy AoE balls overlap so if get shotgunned your EHP might not be enough. Not sure if phys/fire or pure fire. Could be searchable on poedb if you know the beast name

I am very confused.
The mentioned char has no source of max resist at all, according to POB you are not even resist capped.

Are you sure you are not mistaking overcapped resist with max resist?
Because you character "cypawsae" is not wearing a single item or using a single passive skill that increases max resist.

yes i should have put uncapped resist according to the character sheet in game

Fire resistance 75%(88%)

you could:

1 - take versatile combatant
2 - change your shield mastery 'damage per armour on shield' to '1% block per 5% block on shield'

The above would get you to 60 / 50 block, and allow you to drop rumis


what bandits did you help? pob says you did not take +2 skill points.

be aware that, even with 50% spell block, 1 shots can still happen. block is all or nothing, so anything that gets through is still going to hurt.

but losing ~20% attack block, to gain 50% spell block, on a character with good armor but no other spell mitigation, sounds like a very good idea to me.
