Spark doesn't hit flying enemies
So spark and several other ground projectiles don't hit flying enemies such as srs and animate weapons, ribbons, leap slam targets such as oak etc. This is very dangerous when mapping and should be removed or at least put in the skills description.

False.
Please stop posting things which are just blatantly incorrect, there's more than enough misinformation in the world without you going out of your way to make it worse. |

in defense of OP, from the wiki:
"Spark projectiles travel on the ground and as such all flying enemies are immune to spark" Not sure if or when this was changed but I've never noticed spark not hitting any enemies Last edited by jsuslak313#7615 on Feb 24, 2022, 6:18:47 PM

" The wiki is incredibly out of date and often wrong. As with anything else in PoE, the solution is to actually test things for yourself instead of believing garbage you read on Reddit and then regurgitating it as if it were a fact. It took me literally 10 seconds to buy a spark gem, travel to the act 3 solaris temple, kill some ribbons with it, and know that this thread is nonsense. |

ribbons are not flying enemies. They "appear" to be flying lol
In fact, I think it's true that spark doesn't hit flying enemies, but there ARE NO flying enemies currently in the game. But yes, back in 2017 spark DID NOT hit flying enemies but things have changed since then Last edited by jsuslak313#7615 on Feb 24, 2022, 6:25:02 PM

" I just re-tested on the Arsenal map and Spark DOES work against Animated weapons and the Steel Soul boss. So it can definitely hit both flying enemies and "floating" enemies like Ribbons. This also took me less than a minute to test. |

" there are flying enemies in the game even though those are all summons (animated weapons and raging spirits) these are enemies not affcted by "ground" stuff like burning ground or caustic arrow |

I mean...we all agree lol. I'm well aware there are no enemies that avoid spark anymore.
