Dont work Grasping Mail and Coward's Chains
1) Grasping Mail -Prefix - Chaos Damage does not bypass Energy Shield while not on Low Life
2) Coward's Chains - Damage of Enemies Hitting you is Unlucky while you are Cursed with Vulnerability You count as on Full Life while you are Cursed with Vulnerability You are Cursed with Vulnerability, with 40% increased Effect Not work, Chaos damage does bypass Energy Shield (low Life build) Testing map with Cursed with Vulnerability: Probably does not work at all, there may be a conflict belt and maps effects (Vulnerability) I think Full Life - is not low life I think at the same time it's worth checking how the Culling Strike effect works, I haven't tested it. " Thanks for your report, I'll pass this on.
As crazy as it sounds, "on Low Life" and "on Full Life" are not mutually exclusive.
If you equip Coward's Legacy on a character with Chaos Inoculation allocated, you are simultaneously on Full Life (because 1/1 life is "on Full Life") and on Low Life (because Coward's Legacy has the modifier "You count as on Low Life while you are Cursed with Vulnerability"). Culling Strike is a separate effect entirely. It affects targets which are on 10% or less of their maximum life. It doesn't care about whether the target has the "on Low Life" condition, because that uses a different threshold altogether. Last edited by duskwuff#3369 on Feb 24, 2022, 8:14:36 PM

This is correct behaviour. The belt makes you count as on Full Life, regardless of your actual life value, but doesn't have any effect on whether you're on low life.
The bypass stat doesn't care whether you're on full life, only whether you're on low life.
" In my opinion, this violates classic logic, the character cannot be both low and NOT low health at the same time. |

Being counted as full life doesn't mean you aren't low life (if you, in fact, are low life).
Likewise, being counted as low life doesn't mean you aren't full life (if you're using the upgraded version and happen to be at full life). Full life and low life are normally mutually exclusive, but if you redefine what it means to be full/low life (such as "while cursed with Vulnerability" instead of the usual meaning) then they aren't mutually exclusive anymore. |
