Abyssal Trove not appearing?

I am not sure if it's a bug or not. I mainly do Abyssal this league and many times I don't see a Trove appearing. I used to think maybe I wasn't killing enough or I stood "too far".

Then I got 6 link and I was killing too fast and waiting for more to come out and twice in a row, I didn't get a Trove.

Is it bugged or what exactly reward me a Trove in the end? Hope some of you know.

You probably weren't following the path properly and didn't notice. You were still sitting at one opening waiting for more stuff to come out, but the opening had moved on elsewhere.

I am 99% sure I followed the path as I see them coming out of the "big hole". This happened to me twice in the same map.

record a video and make sure you are in lockstep mode

I've seen this a few times, definitely not due to failing to chase the abyss.
It appears to happen when the abyss can't find a valid location to path to, which is most likely in maps with tight spaces. I don't think there's anything you can do to prevent this.

Yes, I am doing all abyssal this league and this has happened to me 4-5 times. I have died before and when I came back, the hole is sealed. That I understand.


On a side note, I've been farming 5-6 mods jewels but I have yet to find one that is level 84 or higher. Can the Trove drop higher than 83? I am already doing tier 16 maps. I don't know how to get higher item level from Trove.

yea i had this happen yesterday myself. Underground river map, i paid 2c to get an abyss, TWO of them spawned in the map, and neither continued after their 2nd stop, with no trove appearing.

a little unfortunate imo.

They also stop if you don't kill stuff fast enough, but y'all probably already knew that and were killing them quickly.

This has happened to me once and it was confusing. Just stopped branching but no trove.

I know there was a bug and GGG fixed it a few league ago

But without any video prove. I doubt the bug has reappeared

It just happened to me again. I think if you kill too fast, there is a slight chance that the Trove won't appear.

By the way, how do I get an Eye Jewel level 84 from Trove? The most I can get is i83 from map 16.

Any way to raise Trove's item level?
