people who think mtx have no influence on the gameplay, are in 80% of cheeps in poe with 20 ex max in stash.

And how does it affect the gameplay? You know, more VFX on the screen causes more clutter, so ppl with Battle Pass have slight disadvantage.

Ofc MTX are P2W. Dont you know that those big wings give you 20% more damage and that fancy pet gives you +10% to max resistances.

Initially I thought it was free and they were just trying to get a few more players to engage through the endgame so they could enjoy the usually considered best section of gameplay.
However then I saw it was 30$ and a big F appeared in my mind, don't find this very encouraging honestly as I don't think its even a well designed battlepass its like a lowest possible effort one. A real battlepass to replace challenge rewards was always a good idea though. |

This shit has immediately reminded me of World of Tanks when I saw it. Enjoy seeing I was not the only one.
Speaking of WOT - game with great potential ruined by greed. I have hope for F2P type of game, little left, bot no gone yet. If POE repeats the pattern it will be last F2P I ever play and they are threading a fine line here. POE2 should be the ruthless vision experience and POE1 should be the zoom power fantasy sandbox to capture both audiences.
I petition to return all the fun stuff that was removed or nerfed over the years back into POE1. |

They were already charging money for skins prior to releasing this. So why need this then?
Its more than just charging money for skins. Otherwise they would just release more skins and there would be zero drama. If you cannot tell you are being boned on your own I am not going to explain it to you as you are likely to get defensive and bring up excuses why GGG can do no wrong, all of which I already heard before, instead of entertaining a possibility that they are able to put their best interest above players best interest, which they are doing right now.
