Faithguard + Global Defense

I'm not somewhere I can test this now, but it'll be easy enough if I do. Faithguard causes increases/decreases to Energy Shield instead apply to Ward. Since both are Global Defenses would you get 2x the Ward value from increased Global Defense, or since "Global Defense" is not "Energy Shield" would the conversion not happen?

Increased global defences is a single modifier. It can only apply to Ward once, and it already does without Faithguard.

It is not equivalent to individual modifiers for each defence.

As an example of a similar interaction, evasion converted to armour through Iron Reflexes only benefits from "increased armour and evasion" once, but benefits from "increased armour" and "increased evasion" additively.
