Future-proof Standard Build ideas

I was wondering what would be the best standard build (including some of legacy items like flasks or uniques - not as expensive as 1000hp kaoms), that is future-proof many builds that I made no longer work.

What would you recommend? Perhaps RF inq or Seismic trapper or summoner? anything other?

Thanks

Nothing is going to be perfectly future proof just through the simple changes to the passive tree. You will occasionally have to respec as a direct result of just those changes.
Thanks for all the fish!
Nothing is future proof. The reduced mana reserved mod existed for god knows how many years and the change to reservation efficiency destroyed a lot of builds.

I dont think there is any way to future proof a build completely.

Of Course but I mean close to it? Trapper has been good since they introduced ice trap? RF was also good since many years the only major change was Inq so people don't play chieftain or jug and EE changes. SRS probably been still good since they dropped it to 20 skulls and before that too.

I need people to give ideas and answer question not to tell me nothing is future proof, Poe Isn't future proof it will end one day too.
Hmm, the longest future proof will be things that are weak now.

Seismic trap is still top-7 skills this league to start, so likely to be nerfed.

But being weak is no guarantee, Molten strike was just hit by perhaps 40% just because Hydrosphere was hit by a nuclear bomb.

So, the best way is probably to build around something that can use a variety of either spells or melee.

Like any impale build can work with spectral helic, steel skills, cyclone, maybe ground slam.

Or a self caster that can cast any lightning skills, etc.

That way if something gets gutted (and it will) you can transfer to other similar skills.
As a 100% Standard Player for 8 years, I can tell you that absolutely nothing is future-proof.

Every single build I have played has been wiped out by some kind of update.

If you wanna go crazy legacy stuff, the closest thing would probably be Zombies to try get them like they were in 3.8, but it's insanely expensive now.
Cold DOT occultits may be nerf-proof to some extent, tho it doesn't possess gazillions of dps nor it's that fast, just a general all-rounder.

well If u don't mind spending a lil bit look at my cyclone MacaBallerinagod. On std u can pretty much buy everything, not cheap, but its being a year of no changes so far and I bet they will not nerf any further (maybe even can buff cause if u don't have legacy stuff it sucks a LOT)

Its the build I like the most and even after countless nerfs still work and is good as hell for mapping and with a few changes (I have a ryslatha coil to switch) can take down bosses in secs.

If u want a exclusive boss killer u can use diferent medium clusters for more damage and critical but I like to have area damage/area of effect so it scale explosions for mega satisfaction explosions on clearing (seriously the explode mod on chest is the most fun stuff I saw in this game, shame they nerfed...)
I would say something as generic as possible.
not relying on any gimmick
not relying on any over performing skill
not exploiting any mechanic

something that is template like where you can easily swap between skills or entire ascendancies. As few “mandatory” pieces of equipment as possible so you have flexibility.
like a generic crit elemental attack build or something
My vote goes to
