Edit that again - it's 60 to 74.

68 is the magic number where you no longer get penalized for being over leveled... but you really don't get penalties of any measure in level 60 areas.

The ideea is simple. At start of the league, or at start of your journey chaos recipe might be good.

After that just playing faster instead of just sorting out inventory to sell full sets is better , because you get more valuable loot that nets more.

You can get a pretty decent char that can start mapping with just a few chaos orbs which to be honest you can get without doing anything special until hitting maps.

To be honest this league I didn't do much trading and I ran maps on absolution five link with just resistance from ascendancy and tree <.< so it's totally possible.

Also, at level 64 you should still be able to do ok just picking up rares from the ground and using them. The only thing to buy is any uniques that are lower level that your build will use. If you use a good filter you should get enough currency to do the socket crafting yourself so as long as the item has good enough stats you should easily get a 2 to 4 link for your main damage skill which is about all you need. After they moved the crafting bench socket crafting back into the Acts there is no reason not to have a 4 link main damage skill.

Seeing as your profile is private it keeps people from offering any more in depth advice that might be helpful as they can't see your character build.

Until the endgame gear really isn't as important as skills unless it is the random unique that makes your build work.

Run easy lvl 67 heist contracts, gives tons of rings and amulets for chaos recipe.

As well as lots of low level currency including chaoses.

You can buy 10 lvl67 heist contracts in The Rogue Harbor every time you level.

So keep yourself at level 69-70 for a few days and keep running heists (at 71 you won't get heist reveals for lvl67 contracts). Use vendor recipe to delevel.

But if you have enough reveals you can easily level past 70, will be even easier to pharm rings/amulets. Just don't forget to buy those 10 heist contracts every time you level.
