Question(s) about atlas passive tree
hi, I wonder between two notions about the passive tree:
1) if I fixate on a favourite encounter early on will it be significantly weighted for (my personal favorites, delve, heist and grove in that order) 2) if I fixate on a favourite encounter early on will it merely improve the odds slightly and not proportionately to other encounters. the idea: everything starts static and proportinal. I then select an adjustment which removes proportionality and focuses on "-Negative item" afterwhich I later select "+positive item" do they cancel out overall? if I fixate on delve and apply no points in other content will I get a LOT of delve? and later if I split into harvest and heist will I gt a more consistent split between "my 3 favourites" ? if I were to want delve above and beyond all other content, would I refrain from increasing the odds of my second and third favourite content? to guarantee the improvement to the odds of my actual total favourite? The atlas passives do not make other content appear less. They can only make certain types of content appear more.
E.g. normally the chance for any of those league mechanics to spawn randomly is 8%, but if you take the atlas passives, you can boost it up to 15%. Some mechanics also allow guaranteeing one encounter, like Ambush, Domination, Harbinger, and Essence. But none of the passives make other mechanics appear less frequently. You will still have an 8% chance to encounter them. So you will want to spec into all the types of content you like as soon as you can, plus some investment into map sustain of course. |
