Usually rares and uniques drop +2 of the corresponding monster level of the area. However upon completing a Monster Level 85 Maven's crucible, the rare items dropped were all ilvl:85.

Rare and Uniques usually ALWAYS drop +2 (and magic +1). This would be the first exception to this rule so most likely a bug or a "secret" limitation. Considering that bosses give not much EXP for there difficulty and lifepool vs normal enemies this makes the +2 Level Atlas quite pointless.

I face the same situation, not sure whether it is a bug or per design. The Captivated Interest seems to apply as area level is 85 according to ingame tooltip, but items drop from unique monsters as ilvl 85. This is true in regular and special (tested formed/forgotten/feared) invitations. |
