What about Imbalanced Guard after 3.16.0(Armour Changes)?
So, after some research i think this Keystone got buffed and nerfed at the same time, because we only need 5000-6000 Armour to achieve 50% Estimated Physical Damage Reduction, so, there is no way that a Juggernaut with lots of Armour + Endurance charges would want to use this, and yeah, this is like before, but now "Low Armour" Builds that can easily reach this Keystone have no reason to skip it, right?
And i have a question, if i get 50% Estimated Physical Damage Reduction(only from Armour, not Golem, endurance Charges...), im going to defend with 2*(5000-6000 Armour), so, this means that 10000-12000 Armour would give me approximately Estimated 65% Physical Damage Reduction, and because of Imbalanced Guard i can only have 50%, so, when using this Keystone i want to use Even Less Armour to not "lose" some of it, or im completely wrong here? How exactly i can defend with 65% Estimated Physical Damage Reduction if i only have 50%? Last bumped on Feb 9, 2022, 12:11:31 AM

Estimated physical damage reduction is not a good stat to go by on the defense sheet. It is extremely difficult to reduce a massive hit by 50% with armor and the sheet has no way to correctly estimate a 10K hit coming your way.
In most cases going from say 30k to 60k armor will help a great deal more where its very difficult to reduce a big hit by more than 50% anyway. The big hit will deal less damage but the tradeoff is you take a bit more damage from the smaller hits. In fact Id say its one of the more undervalued ones since most people probably look at it incorrectly and think it also means your resists are 50% as well. Edited because I think I am wrong about endurance charges helping since you are already at 50% damage reduction. Last edited by gladiatorpie#3317 on Feb 9, 2022, 12:25:05 AM

In PoB you can manually adjust the damage for an incoming hit. The Shaper's slam, for example, does ~9-13k damage with a rare chance at critting. You can manually check to see if you can survive.
