Cannot exit to Epilogue after killing Kitava

After killing Kitava, I opened a portal to Oriath Docks(not Sin's portal) in order to accept the trade, but when i cameback, there wasn't Sin's portal. In quest list i can see "The exit to the Epilogue is now open", but when I am going back to Oriath Docks, the quest changing to "Kill Kitava". I don't know for sure if my teleportation broke the quest, but I believe that this is all due to the fact that I did not wait for the Sin teleport to appear.
