Whirling blades namelocking

Whirling blades namelocking was changed in 3.17 from 3.16, it no longer does the namelock when holding down whirling blades which completely bricks venom gyre and most likely chain hook as well as it relies on the same mechanic. Is this change intentional?

I realize this bothers about 5 people on this planet but the change wasn't mentioned in the notes prior to release.

I can confirm that Whirling Blades namelocking is indeed broken. I tested Chain Hook, but namelocking with it seems to work. My only other theory was that it just affects travel attack skills, but Leap Slam namelocks normally as well. Shield Charge doesn't, but I honestly don't know if it ever did.

I'm playing Venom Gyre too and single target is very hard to execute properly without the ability to namelock with Whirling Blades.
Hope this gets fixed soon.

Same issue here. Playing venom gyre whirling blades. Single Target is trash without the namelock.

Lordy please fix this. Venom gyre is our only hope vs Lost Ark.

please fix, was my goal to make this build and now i dont have a motivation. hopefully fixed soon, otherwise i have LA to play =)

I also have an issue with this, was hoping to use it this league for Venom Gyre.

A friend of mine has the same problem.
