<solved> CPU spikes/Frame drops

First time poster so I'm sorry for any mistakes.
I just upgraded from a gtx 970 to a rtx 3070ti.
I was just testing some item filters when I noticed that I get MAJOR drops in fps and spikes in cpu usage when there are a lot of mobs on screen. This was never a problem with the 970 and I will probably through it back in just to confirm. I messed around with gefore exp. and in game graphics settings but to no avail (even when capped at 60fps and pretty much everything disabled/low)
Just wondering if anyone has any ideas/tests. Appreciate the help

<solved> It was the discord overlay *smh*

Exact same issue - upgraded from a 1070 to a 3070ti, suddenly I started getting semi-random stuttering (huge spikes in frame time). It seems to happen around many monsters, maybe when I ignite a lot of them at once as well, however it is very inconsistent - sometimes I ignite the whole screen and no stutter, other times I ignite a few monsters with a big pack somewhere to the side (not affected) and it will stutter. Sometimes it stutters randomly even when not interacting with monsters.

Is this "online" item filters you are testing / using or local where you download the files to you pc ?
If online then unsubcribe from them all again and try using files downloaded to your pc.

I believe you are correct, couldn't squeeze the proper testing before maint.
But I did notice a major difference after I unsubbed from the forum's item filters.
Thank you.
