Corruption, withering step and Withering touch?

I know Corruption doesn't affect wither applied by your minions.

What if you withering step (which does benefit from Corruption) and then your minions apply a wither from withering touch support?

Does corruption affect just the 6 withers from your withering step? Does it now affect 0 of the withers?

What if you withering step at the very end? Does Corruption now affect all the withers, giving you the full 35% increased effect of wither?

My understanding is thus:

All withered stacks are "on" the target, however only the strongest 15 will apply at any one time. So if different withered stacks have different values, they'll stack additively, using the strongest ones until 15 have applied. All the withered stacks' individual timers will tick down regardless.

This is again something that GGG have to work on.
So far it's only normal to expect the Wither effect to be Global, therefore be a mechanic which does not care about the source unless specifically mentioned - for example Abhorrent Interrogation has "you" in the description. Also, the small passives before the Corruption notable specifically say "Withered you inflict expires slower". And if that's not the case, then it's yet another example for which GGG must improve their tooltip management - most of all bad things in this game.
