Banned by Path of Building or Awakaned POE?

Free accounts: GDPR probably applies. Some of the newer legislation specifically aims at limiting the power of companies like Facebook and Google with "free" account models. I dont know whether these have been turned into national law yet or not though. A part of that is user data usage based. Whether this applies here I dont know. GGG is using Google captcha. This gives Google user data. Whether this is enough for those laws to be applicable I dont know. I also dont know in which other manners GGG uses user data. They obviously do self advertise but I dont know if that falls under those laws. They also advertise Twitch - I think this does fall under those laws. Which would mean that free accounts are protected to some degree at least also. I dont know if arbitrary account bans are part of that protection though. Unfortunately I dont know enough about the details...

Far as I understand this has limited relevance for the legal perspective - see my other posts here. Especially the link to unfair contract terms.

I only heard once a while that people claimed they had been banned for Awakened POE trade. As other people said, it is a third party plugin that GGG never say yes or no about it. So, to protect yourself, you don't need any overlay/plugin

(POB is not a plugin/overlay, it read nothing but pastebin or POE web profile)

Yes there is a chance you are just banned for something else likes rmt (your email reply should have mentioned which clause of TOS violated, previous banned player has show us about that, how about you?)

No. email screenshot of previous thread / previous people that banned has shown more specific clause.

Either the thread starter lied and want to blackmail awakened poe trade , or just dodged the disclose of the real banning reason such as rmt ban in the email by posting the screenshot of that part of sentence. or there is a tiny chance that GGG now even more vague in the email that no longer tell people which clause of the tos


(Also, if the email is really that vague, then proving the thread starter just want to blackmail random poe-related software by just guessing or blaming the software is the reason to get ban)

I would like to clarify as far as my BAN is concerned that I have not done any type of RMT.

I have traded with tons of unknown people during the week and we have also lent items to each other from a private channel that we have shared for years.

It would be undignified that my account has been blocked for some trade, since this is not prohibited and I have not committed any infraction

However, in the absence of an deep explanation from my BAN ( That's all i have
- Reason: "Breaching Terms of Use" ) . I would like to think that do some trades are not a reason to be banned ( otherwise they should disable it ) in the same way that using these programs ( POB / Awakened POE ) SHOULD not be a reason because everyone use it.

I dont wanted to dodge or accuse a program of being the cause of my blocked account. I only exposed what I have used that can be the result of this block, according to other threads that I have been reading in this forum. It would help much get more details by GGG to know the real reasons for the ban

I hope that none of you who play normally find yourself in my situation, since after several days I still have no answer by GGG and I'm going to miss this season

I have invested about 60$ buying stabs during these years ending my account blocked without giving me a specific reason or support ( I just played a week after two inactivity years ) . It's not a lot of money, but I think it's not the treatment any customer should be given. It's very disgusting

Finally my account has been unblocked
